When Lakeland College began as Mission House 150 years ago, there were only a handful of students in a tiny building on donated land. Over time enrollment increased, buildings were built and torn down, athletics programs and curriculum were developed, and Mission House grew to become the Lakeland College we know today. As part of Lakeland College's Sesquicentennial, we feel there is no better time than now to put the spotlight on 150 years of the achievements and memories of our graduates. The way we see it, your story is the celebration. Submit your story or read stories other alums have posted.


Every brick and space on our beautiful campus is here because someone else — a friend of the college, one of its alumni — cared. Lakeland is an institution founded in faith, but sustained by faith's most enduring signs: hope for the future and charity. Learn more about the status of the Sesquicentennial Campaign. View a list of classmates who have already made a commitment to the campaign. "Leave Your Mark" before March 1, 2012 and become a permanent fixture of the new Sesquicentennial and Alumni Plazas to be seen by all at the All-College Reunion in the summer of 2012.
