My favorite campus memory is being a member of a family, comprised of staff and students, which gave me joy and happiness. It was a place like home. The inspiration I received as a student was the dedicated help, strength and hope I received from the professors. The professors helped me many times on an individual basis to get me through the classes successfully. My professional life led me to successful careers as a high school teacher, business manager and nursing home administrator. My Lakeland education impacted my life, enabling me to be a successful administrator of the Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Center for 28 years. I had great compassion for the mentally ill and other individuals who needed special care. I am still helping those individuals who are living in our community.
