I transferred to Lakeland College after struggling at another college. At the time, my dad was taking Lifelong Learning classes, and we went to the Lakeland campus for a visit. I loved the size of the campus and talked to the Admissions Office. They accepted me just by seeing my high school grades. I knew this was the school for me. What I enjoyed the most was the smaller class sizes and the personal attention I received in my major field (Science).
I met my husband on campus, and we have been married for 16 years. We now have three wonderful sons. If I hadn't transferred to Lakeland College, I wouldn't have the family I have now. I, one day, would feel proud to have one of my sons graduate from Lakeland College and continue the legacy.
